In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the health, safety and well-being of the public and visitors is our highest priority. We continuously monitor the global health situation, and are taking health precautions in the preparation of the ILGA World conference.
Throughout the process, we will follow all relevant institutional and governmental rules, regulations, and restrictions for the containment of the pandemic.
We have the following contingency plans in place should travel remain unsafe or impossible, which include possibly postponing or downsizing the conference.
October 2021: A decision will be made whether the ILGA World Conference needs to be postponed to the fourth quarter of 2022
December 2021: If the conference will continue in May 2022 as planned, a decision will be made whether the conference needs to be downsized
February 2022: If the conference will be postponed to the fourth quarter of 2022, we will announce the new conference dates by this time.
April 2022: If the conference will be postponed to the fourth quarter of 2022, a decision will be made whether the conference needs to be downsized
