IDAHOBIT 2025: mobilise your communities!
Summary:
What’s happening: This year’s International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is only two months away, and we want to support you as you make plans to celebrate it!
Why it matters: Since 2004, every May 17 has been a powerful moment for grassroots activists, organisations, institutions, and allies to come together, spotlight violence and discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people, and mobilise for change.
This year’s theme, The power of communities, celebrates how solidarity and collective action can drive progress. In times of uncertainty, a nurturing community is essential for survival and strength, but it can also bring people together to challenge injustice!
