ILGA WORLD CONFERENCES
Ever been to an ILGA conference? This is your chance to join a beautiful constellation of LGBTI activists and organisations, allies, and community leaders from across the globe.
Since the 1970s, ILGA World Conferences have been fundamental events for our movements. They have coincided with the first Pride parade in a country (Brazil, 1995), the first global celebration of community days (Bisexual Visibility Day, in 1999). They have often been the first LGBTQ conference of this magnitude that activists ever took part in, getting a first taste of what global solidarity can do.
This is where organisations have collided to begin partnerships that keep developing. This is where human rights defenders find a place they can share their stories and learn from one another. And the great thing is: you can be a part of it, too!
THE NEXT ILGA WORLD CONFERENCE
The next ILGA World Conference will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, between 6 and 10 September 2027. It will be hosted by three ILGA member organisations in the country: Comunidad Homosexual Argentina (CHA), 100% Diversidad y Derechos, and Conurbanes por la Diversidad.
