ILGA World members meet-up: “X and Meta are out. Now what? Is it time to renew our digital homes?”

Harmful interactions on social media are on the rise. Reactionary narratives grounded in alleged “freedom of speech” and “family values” have exposed our communities to harassment and the risk of violence.

Many activists and organisations are wondering what to do with their digital presence: is it time to leave X and Meta platforms, with their ongoing disregard for the safety of LGBTI people, and join alternative social media?

If you have asked yourself the same question recently and want to learn how other organisations are dealing with these difficult decisions, join our first ILGA World members’ meet-up!

Hear from other member organisations and share your own experience to help our global community decide about platforms and the alternative spaces they can use.
