Summary:
Join ILGA World at the 69th Commission on the Status of Women with our partners and activists from member organisations, as we join forces to hold space and advocate for our communities!
This year will mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. Together, we have fought for the progress achieved over the last 30 years, and there should be no retrogression. We will continue to fight until gender equality is a reality for everyone!
With Beijing+30 in 2025, we can collectively embrace this moment to break through the barriers, push progress forward, demonstrate political will, unleash the power of feminist movements, and shift power and resources to those who need it most and will lead us.
It is not a time to be quiet about the challenges or be hesitant with actions, commitments and resources. It is a time to build bridges and lift one another by taking an intersectional approach centred on human rights.
