2024 ILGA World Conference report

Large group of people gathered indoors for the 2024 ILGA conference, next to text reading "2024 Conference Report" and two ILGA logos.

The report on the 2024 ILGA World Conference is here!

Returning to African soil for the first time in 25 years, our latest ILGA World Conference brought together over 1,450 delegates from more than 100 countries, hosted under the banner “Kwa umoja we rise” by local organisations Iranti and Gender DynamiX.

For five days, activists, researchers, policymakers, human rights defenders, and LGBTI communities convened to strategise, uplift voices, and respond to mounting anti‑rights backlash across the globe.
