Your time is precious. And so are your skills.

Becoming a volunteer with ILGA World is a way to invest them in the global fight to end human rights violations against lesbian, gay, bisexual,

trans and intersex people, while being exposed to the workings of an international non-governmental organisation. It is a chance to gain personal growth, and to do good.

What can you do, you ask?

Can you imagine finding all the LGBTI-related data and information you need, just a click away? The ILGA World Database is coming on 22 March 2023, and we need your help!

We are looking for volunteers who are native/fluent speakers in both English and other languages to translate texts for video subtitles and visual assets. The translations will be made from English to other languages.

While all languages are welcome and most official UN languages are already covered, we are particularly looking for people who are native speakers of (or extremely fluent in) Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, German Hindi, Japanese, Tagalog, Urdu, Vietnamese, or Yoruba.

With your contribution, the ILGA World Database will rech more people worldwide, becoming more accessible and useful to our global community.
