[…] Restrictions based on this ground may not, for instance, be imposed because of opposition to expressions of sexual orientation or gender identity. (para. 46). |

CRC on children’s rights in relation to the digital environment

Individual complaints

An individual complaint is a formal complaint - from an individual who claims that their rights under one of the treaties have been violated by a State party - which most of the Treaty Bodies are competent to consider.
