Several recent studies such as the report on Bisexual Invisibility by the San Francisco Human Rights Commission and Bi UK’s The Bisexuality Report show the high index of depression, isolation, mental health problems, and one of the highest rates of suicide within the LGBT community. This data indicates that the welfare of bisexual persons needs to be taken into account in a more coherent and effective way.

The document was prepared in collaboration with Bisexual+ Community Perth, American Institute of Bisexuality, amBi, Spectrum, The Bisexuals of Serbia, Las Reinas Chulas Cabaret y Derechos Humanos and Manodiversa.
