Paulina (Paula) Klik (she/her) has been the Membership and Events Officer at ILGA World since September 2018, assisting the organisation of international events (including ILGA World conferences) and development of strategies, tools and processes to support member organisations.
Paula worked as an interpreter in the United Kingdom, as a teacher in Colombia and as a conference intern at ILGA-Europe in Belgium.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from Central European University in Hungary and University of Oviedo in Spain.
Her main areas of interest are migration studies and queer theory, therefore her thesis focused on identity and migration motivation of LGB+ Poles living in West Midlands.
Paula also holds a Bachelor Degree in English Linguistics and Human Biology from Aston University in the United Kingdom. She dabbles in video editing and writing.
