Paulina (Paula) Klik (she/her) is the Administrative Support Officer at ILGA since September 2018, working with office administration, finances and event organising. Paula worked as an interpreter in the U.K, as a teacher in Colombia and as a conference intern at ILGA Europe in Belgium. She contributes to an ongoing research titled 'Queer Brexit - the Migrant Experience' and she co-founded a podcast documenting the lives of Polish migrant women. Paula holds a Master’s Degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from Central European University in Hungary and University of Oviedo in Spain. Her main areas of interest are migration studies and queer theory. Therefore, in her thesis she studied the identity and migration motivation of LGB+ Poles living in the U.K. Paula also holds a Bachelor Degree in English Linguistics and Human Biology from Aston University in the U.K.
