The 31st session of the UN Human Rights Council has been a time of intense debates and meetings, and it has been a crucial one to raise awareness and build support for the human rights of LGBTI persons.
From the Annual high-level panel on human rights mainstreaming to a side-event on torture and ill-treatment of LGBTI persons, ILGA has been involved in several moments of this session.
This is why, on the final day of the 31st Human Rights Council, the organisation’s UN team has hosted a live Twitter Q&A, offering more details about how issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, bodily diversity and sex characteristics were discussed during this session.
Our UN team is ready to take your questions about SOGIESC issues at the #HRC31! Join our Q&A and #askILGA! pic.twitter.com/2oNdJev2pM
