FREEDOM AT WORK
is a world conference organised by Netwerk Roze FNV to activate trade union members, staff and officials and (potential) allies for the equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgenders and intersex (LGBTI) workers.
Amsterdam is where EuroPride 2016 will be.
One of the events taking place in the period of EuroPride, on August 4 and 5, will be the international FREEDOM AT WORK conference, where the role of trade unions in defending LGBTI rights and combating discrimination will be discussed.
Keynote speakers include Ulrike Lunacek (European parliament) and Virginia Magwaza (Human Rights South Africa), and there will be workshops from many different angles and parts of the world. A special event on August, Saturday 6 will be open to all conference participants.
