since 2015, ILGA World has been producing Annual Treaty Bodies reports to collect information about LGBTI recommendations and assist you in your engagement with the United Nations Treaty Bodies.
We want to make sure that our resources are useful for your work. With this in mind, and after producing six reports for the years between 2014 and 2019, we decided to reassess and review our Annual Treaty Bodies reports and their methodology. Your help in this process would be invaluable!
If you represent a grassroots LGBTI group and if you have some experience with Treaty Bodies advocacy - especially if you have used our reports in your work - we would be happy to conduct an interview with you. Please contact Kseniya Kirichenko, ILGA World’s Programme Coordinator (UN Advocacy, Women and Training), at [email protected]. We will be able to conduct interviews in English, Spanish and Russian. Please include in your email a few lines about your organisation, your role there and your experience with Treaty Bodies. If you have used our Annual Treaty Bodies reports, please mention this in your email as well.
We will be able to provide a small compensation for your contribution. However - due to the limited resources, and because we want to interview grassroots activists representing different communities, populations and regions - we may not be able to accept every application.
