President of Transgenders Association Vijayakumar flayed the demand of chemical castration for rape accused in some quarters.

In a statement, he said it would be inhuman of the State to indulge in such heinous crime. He said the rape accused deserved the highest punishment indicated in the criminal law but the policy makers should think of human rights of every citizen including rapists.
