In December 2016, The Yogscast – a network of broadcasters who produce gaming-related video content – partnered with Humble Bundle and the Tides Foundation for their traditional Christmas charity drive, also known as the Yogscast Jingle Jam.

ILGA was among the organisations that gamers could decide to support on that occasion and, as you may recall, what happened went beyond our belief: thousands of persons chipped in, granting more than US$ 300,000 in donations to the organisation!

As much as we were floored with gratitude back then, we could not expect the most recent news: a few days ago, in fact, ILGA received further US$ 65,000 from that December charity drive.

The Yogscast gaming powerhouse has been supporting us for more than one year now, but this came as a wonderful and unexpected Christmas-in-July present. And it is an important one: your donations concretely make possible for ILGA to continue and expand on our advocacy work for LGBTI movements across the globe.

With your support, you chose to empower our efforts to represent and raise the voices of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people and communities worldwide, and we could not be more honoured by your trust and your generosity.

Once more, we want to thank each and every one of you for your support.
Knowing that you stand by our side makes us more determined than ever to continue our work, and to redouble our efforts to stamp out human rights violations against LGBTI persons from the globe. It is a fight that all of us will benefit from: as the United Nations’ High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development recently heard, “societies are better off when everybody is included, and LGBTI persons are part of every society.”

See for yourself what you are making possible!
