Bernardo Fico (he/him) joined ILGA as the UN Programme’s Intern in February 2018.

Before joining ILGA, he was a Visiting Professional at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. He has also worked with Brazilian lawyers and public officials bringing standards from international human rights bodies to local litigations, and has started the first Brazilian database on academic articles on LGBTI issues. He has participated in Stanford's Summer Human Rights Concentration Course, Universität Luzern's Academy for Human Rights Implementation, and OAS' XLIV International Law Course.

Bernardo holds a Law Degree from University of São Paulo, and will start his LL.M. shortly.
