Addressing the participants of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Maha Manglamukhi Kinnar Sammelan’ that is being held from January 2 to January 17 at Gajkhandi ground here, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh called upon the members of the eunuch community to spread awareness about them receiving education through open schools. He said that eunuchs are also an important part of the Indian society and play the crucial role of spreading happiness while blessing people for their prosperity.
The Chief Minister said that it is the sublimity of the eunuch community that they find happiness in other people’s happiness. Minister for School Education Brijmohan Agrawal and Minister for Woman and Child Development Lata Usendi were the special guests. The function was also attended by Vice Chairman of the Raipur Development Authority Ratan Daga. The programme was presided over by Kaushal Kishore Mishra.
School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said that this is the fourth convention of eunuch community being held in the city.
