Pink Therapy has recently launched a new project aimed at helping improve the psychosocial support and mental health of LGBT people around the world. A team of volunteer translators translated two of our most recent papers on working with gender and sexual minorities into a range of languages. All are available for free download from our website.
Pink Therapy is the U.K.’s largest independent specialist counselling therapy and training organisation working with gender and sexual diversity clients. We’re delighted to present to you two of our most recent papers having been translated entirely for free by a number of volunteer translators.
These papers on gender and sexual diversity therapy and another on sexual orientation, initially appeared in a slightly amended format in the Sage Handbook for Counselling and Psychotherapy (3rd edition) and we’re grateful to Sage Publications for permitting us to present the English versions alongside these foreign translations.
We hope to add to the language base for these papers and increase the range of topics with further articles coming out in the near future. We are indebted to our team of translators who have worked tirelessly and at very short notice to translate these documents, this is an enormous gift to their fellow citizens.
If anyone else would like to offer their services to translate these papers into other languages please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
We are making these papers available for free download to help increase awareness of Gender and Sexual Diversity Therapy (GSDT) issues. They are aimed at psychologists and other mental health workers, but we suspect many other people will find them of interest as they represent our current thinking in this area.
