Three exciting job opportunities await you at ILGA-Europe: our European region is looking for an Advocacy Officer, a Communications Director and a summer Communications Intern to work with its team in Brussels, Belgium.

The Advocacy Officer will be actively contributing to ILGA-Europe’s advocacy work aimed at bringing legal, political and social change for LGBTI people across Europe, by working with European institutions to leverage their mechanisms for change, by setting benchmarks for national governments on LGBTI equality, by engaging with governments and civil society at national level to strengthen capacity to translate political commitments into concrete measures, and by acting as a thought-leader on strategic issues for the European LGBTI movement.

The Communications Director will be leading on the development and implementation of communications strategies that advance ILGA-Europe’s organisational goals and messages, and amplify ILGA-Europe’s advocacy, movement building, organisational development and fundraising work.

The Summer Communications Intern will be working from 3 July to 31 August with the staff team in Brussels. This is a paid internship.
The intern will be tasked to carry out in-depth analysis of ILGA-Europe’s thematic social media campaigns from recent years, and of its monthly newsletter; to bring forward two reports with recommendations for optimising the tools; to assist in drafting and creating content to newsletter, website and social media.
