The book chronicles the journey of young lesbian community in Indonesia, our activism at personal, community, national and international level. Publication of the book is the collaboration work among IPP, feminists, human rights activists in Indonesia. \n

The book is about the struggels of forging a lesbian community in Indonesia — How is it to survive as young lesbian community in Indonesia the biggest Muslim population country in the world? How we challenge the fundamentalism which attacked, terror and threat LGBT groups in Indonesia? How do we speak about young lesbian sexual rights, human rights, feminism, coming out, lesbian and religion perspective, safe sex and hot sex, any other issues related to our daily life?

KAMI TIDAK BISU (Kongkow Lez) is in Bahasa Indonesia.WE ARE NOT SILENT (Kongkow Lez). It was written by Kamilia Manaf who until recently was a member of the ILGA-Asia Board.  The book was edited by Dewi Nova Wahyuni dan Arwani.

The book will soon be available in English.  The BOOK LAUNCH will be a Dyke In Action and Party! which will feature theAnak Pelangi Club Performance of Modern & Traditional dance, LGBT Dance, Operetta (Lesbian Love Strory at Islamic Boarding School), Drag King, Draq Queen, All night long Party and many more!
