Dear sir/madam.

We are a Human Rights organization from Rwanda(Human Rights First Rwanda Association) that has been actively engaged in defending the rights of sexual minorities in Rwanda and the region at large.

We are very much credited with the campaign that lead to Decriminalize LGBTI'S in the new Rwandan penal code.

Our concern still is the stigma and discrimination they continue to face as result of their sexual orientation. And lack of access to health facilities , justice system and freedom of association . And now that most African states have stated enacting strict criminal laws targeting sexual minorities it has become a threat even to the achievements we have managed to secure in Rwanda

A lot of Advocacy and Human Rights education initiatives are needed to support sexual minorities in Rwanda and the great lakes region.

It is against this background that today we have initiated a project that Upholds sexual minority rights in the great lakes

individuals and organizations can contribute through the below link and receive a tax deduction from Global Giving.

http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/uphold-sexual-minority-rights-in-the-great-lakes/

Kindly spread the word and share the information to support this cause.

We look forward to your assistance in this regard.

With warm regards

I have been moved by all of the stories here. I understand living in Yemen as a homosexual isn't so great and I hope all of the ones who have been abused whether verbally or physically to find a find a way out of this ignorant racist sexist and most of all homophobic country.I might not be homosexual and I'am not going to fake knowing the pain gays and lesbians go through in such countries, I can try to give an advice though. Although this doesn't seem so encouraging and most of you want to live freely but sometimes you just have to disguise your feelings and be extra cautious for your own safety. Living in a country like Yemen isn't so easy, some of us tend to hide our thoughts, feelings, religious views and open mindedness just so we don't get attacked or judged, and I ask you to do the same. If you think being openly gay here is gonna get you anywhere you are wrong, its either gonna get you killed, abused or sent to some other country as a refugee (and the chances of that is VERY low). Some people lost a lot of opportunities and jobs because of their sexuality. Why put up all of that? Why put up with all of the hatred and discrimination when you can keep it to yourself until you find a true solution that wont get you harmed? My advice is to keep it to yourself and the ones you love and trust if you care for you own safety and try your best to leave to a country where you'll be supported and accepted for who you are.
last but not least stay strong. <3

Facebook deleted my group SUPPORT IRAQI GAYS - STOP THE KILLING, a vital outlet for Iraqi gay expression in a country that routinely kills gays. Please read my letter to facebook, as yet unanswered. Will you contact Facebook for me and tell them you are disturbed by this report? Please? Thank you!

April 3, 2014

Dear Facebook administrator,

I was shocked to wake up this morning and learn that my longstanding social group, SUPPORT IRAQI GAYS - STOP THE KILLING was removed for unspecified "content violations." For nearly six years this group has been a vital forum for more than 2,000 iraqi gays who needed a place to communicate online openly as they try to avoid being openly murdered for whom they love.

From my end as founder and administrator, we have become increasingly adept at monitoring the site for porography, hate speech, commercial postings and the like. We now monitor the site 24/7 from both Baghdad and San Francisco looking for content violations. Postings are removed with lightning efficiency if they violate the content standards, and members are banned permenantly for repeat offenses. By any possible standard we have given due diligence to monitoring this site in both Arabic and English - continuously.

In addition, I recall on more than one occasion when Facebook would not allow me to remove a posting, saying "You are not authorized to edit this site" when I am in fact the founder! But other than that we are a page that does not tolerate nudity below the waist, or hate speech of any kind. I have an Iraqi administrator who is on the job when I'm not.

With any group of more than 2,000 young gays you are going to have the occasional violation, but we deal with them increasingly swiftly to ensure that the site is open and friendly to everyone. How could we possibly do more? About a year ago the site was suspended for allegedly violating standards, but I searched the site for evidnce that images had been removed, or that any standards were violated, and could find none. Nothing - and no explanation from Facebook on what the offending content was - or who had posted it!!!

But let's look at the real problem here: Thousands of Iraqi gays face the death penalty in their country for daring to be gay. This page has been one of the few forums available to them to express themselves and meet each other -- and by any POSSIBLE measure my administration of the page has been caring and competent and continuous.

I ask that you restore our page and its members to their former status. I promise we will continue monitoring the site as carefully as we do today. When you show images of two men kissing, there will always be someone who complains, but if they are merely bad actors and there is no pornography or hate speech -- then Facebook needs a way to recognize that that their complaints are not valid and ignore them. We do everything we can here to ensure a good experience for our members. But you didn't even leave a grievance procedure in place for us to challenge this dreadful decision. Without our page, one thing is sure. Iraqi gays will die, Iraqi gays will be hurt, and Iraqi gays will have no forum to share their feelings.

I beg you to reestablish this site in consideration of the enormous social benefit it brings. Paying attention to these things is part of your responsibility as a company. We as administrators can only provide diligence, we cannot prevent members from posting things, we can only remove members who do. And we do so with lightning speed.

I look forward to your reconsideration of this issue.

Very truly yours.

Goodbye Iraqi Gays - you are loved

Today brings a sad farewell to my beloved Facebook group "SUPPORT IRAQI GAYS - STOP THE KILLING." To our 2,473 loyal members who for six years asked for nothing more than a chance to be themselves, seize the opportunity to speak out against homophobia and meet and cruise each other in a relentlessly antigay society, I am sorry.

But it wasn't the CIA, it wasn't the Iraqi government, and it wasn't antigay militants who killed the group -- it was Facebook. I got an e-mail at midnight saying the group had been removed for unspecified "content violations" and that was that. There is no response address, no grievance procedure, no image or content specified as violating their community standards.

I consider Facebook's actions to be brutally violent considering the great lengths we went to to keep members' contributions civil and decent. We monitored the site continuously from both San Francisco and Baghdad, in both English and Arabic, constantly on the lookout for porn, hate speech or commercial interests. Violators had their inappropriate postings removed with ever-increasing speed and efficiency, and wayward members were banned permanently for repeat violations.

But the vast majority of members were kind souls who were grateful to have a forum where they could express themselves openly. In recent months more and more members were daring to show their real faces, expressing what can only be their own brand of Queer Pride.

Iraqi gays, I congratulate you on your indomitable spirit and will never forget your bravery, which has touched me deeply. I treasure the few of you who have become real friends too, and hope to keep you around forever.

But Facebook doesn't care about human rights, about the brutality of the antigay violence that continues to this day in Iraq, or about the plight of the oppressed. Facebook doesn't give a whit about its scorched-earth policies -- or that its claimed violations are invisible to the human eye. Facebook DOES want me to know that not only the group, but my personal profile will be removed if "I" continue to violate its nebulous and undefined standards. So go to hell Facebook. The blood of my beloved Iraqi gays is on your hands now.

Please let me know if you were in a violent relationship if the police ever became involved in your situation, how did they handle the situation? What recommendations would you make to police, attorneys and legal advocates, judges to better help someone in your situation? If you would like to become part of this study, please respond here. The following theory proves everybody is gay weather you know it or not ."Some species, such as some snails, practice sex change: adults start out male, then become female (See also sex reversal). In tropical clown fish, the dominant individual in a group becomes female while the other ones are male, and bluehead wrasses (Thalassoma bifasciatum) are the reverse. In the marine worm (Bonellia viridis), larvae become males if they make physical contact with a female, and females if they end up on the bare sea floor. This is triggered by the presence of a chemical produced by the females, bonellin. Some species, however, have no sex-determination system. Hermaphrodites include the common earthworm and certain species of snails. A few species of fish, reptiles, and insects reproduce by parthenogenesis and are female altogether. There are some reptiles, such as the boa constrictor and komodo dragon that can reproduce sexually and asexually, depending if a mate is available"(ref –man is the extension of woman)The main hypothesis discussed in this book is that, if a woman lives long enough she will be converted into a man physically. A similar thing can also be stated about man. It is wrong to categorize humankind into two genders as it implicates that they are extremely dissimilar and physically opposite to each other. Man and woman are just two different stages of one developmental process. And physically they are very similar. The ideas presented may sound unconventional but Dr. Fulzele implores readers to consider his point of view with an open mind. “Your world will not change if you do not agree with me. What can I say, I'm a gay 27 years old girl living in Riyadh who had the chance to live in the States but didn't have the heart to do it! I love my family and I honestly can't imagine my life without them.
The other issur is the Lesbian girls in Saudi. I think more than 50% (made up stat) of the lesbian girls here r having sex with girls just because it's easier than having a bf, which is stupid. Anyhow, life must go on, we shouldn't feel like victims. Make the best out of a bad situation and eventually everything will work out to the way you wanted. We r going to live once ans i know for a fact that the grass always looks greener on the other side.

Good luck all

As a openly gay man and person living with HIV my life was actually filled with lot of hardships. Not only battered by my sexual orientation but also victimized because of living with HIV at a very young age. there were times that I thought death would be far more better. However the opportunity to work at UNAIDS drastically changed by life from disgrace and discrimination to respect and well being. It is not the fact that I was working at UNAIDS but it was the fact that I was employed somewhere, a place where I gained respect as another employee ,not sympathy as a person living with HIV,
Civil society and key affected communities ad maintaining a sound relationship with UNAIDS in SriLanka. When I came to know my HIV status, I thought it is end of my life and I had no courage to go anywhere with the fear of exposure. I met a person working for UNAIDS through a PLHIV network and I went to UNAIDS office with great difficulty questioning myself whether I can fit in to such a well-respected place. But I felt a great comfort to be with them with their non-judgmental attitude.
UNAIDS Sri Lanka gave me a greater opportunity to work as a volunteer initially for 6 months and then extended my contract for another 3 months. Initially I was afraid of working in such an organization simply because I don’t have the necessary technical knowledge and I don’t speak good English. I was expecting further stigmatization based on my HIV status and sexual orientation. That was my experience form the society as a young gay man living with HIV.
But I was wrong in my thoughts and UNAIDS staff very warmly welcome me to the UN Compound and felt that it is the safest place for person like me. UNAIDS provided me number of opportunities to develop my public speaking skills and representational capacity. My computer skills, communication skills and English language skills were vastly developed during my stay with UNAIDS. I represent UNAIDS in couple of national forum making me empowered and making me a respected civil society activists. It was a great turning point in my life.
Finally I need to say this is giant opportunity for myself and also my community and I UNAIDS contributed to build up a strong HIV ACTIVITY AND GAY ADVOCATE, in Sri Lanka where HIV positive gay community face double discrimination with the societal norms and legal system. We urge UNAIDS to breed more people like me with necessary capacity to achieve our goal of ZERO
DISCRIMINATION, ZERO AIDS RELATED DETHS, ZERO NEW INFECTIONS

If we can get all multinationals to pull their advertising perhaps the paper will tank.

It's really a nightmare to be an LGBTI here in Cameroon. Not only it's considered a serious crime, LGBTIs are treated as outcasts the community and they also suffer police brutality, torture and harassment on a constant basis. The "poor" families also go through hell. Here in the city of Limbe a suspected gay activist, Penda H F, has reportedly fled the country after he was detained, turtured and released with his friends and warned to desist from all such activities. I pray that with the help of the international community LGBTs here in Cameroon shall one day have their divine rights like all humans.

Hypocrisy of brands

Globalization now is everywhere, so you can find your native goods or services almost in every corner of the world.

We’ll talk about Ukraine. This country now is a trend in world news and politicians speeches, but it’s still a very homophobic and backward country as for human rights.

Ukraine and its citizens can’t now live in test-tube, box or fortress – future is around us.

The people should think over their stereotypes, be more patient with LGBT issues in Ukraine and stop hate gays and their community.

World now enjoys the human rights defence activitites in dozens of countires, except Russia, Ukraine and some others. The processes of support individual freedom are vast and influence all spheres of life, including business.

Many of American and well-known companies openly encourage LGBT community, welcome gay marriages and build a tolerant ommunications with everyone.

But in Ukraine the “daughters” of that businesses are not so opened and cheerful, as in US and Europe. Sometimes, the same companies here, in Kyiv, have quite contrary views and politics about LGBTI issues.

We’re not going to boycott services and goods, provided by the compaines, listed below. But it would be curious and useful to hear their positions on the rights of Ukrainian LGBT, cause now they are silent and continue the line of restraint against gay community.

It’s abnormally and doubly – support the same men and women in US and EU, but be opposite and silent in Ukraine, especially, when this country fights for the future and human dignity.

Hope, soon we’ll hear and see concrete and direct position about LGBT rights from the Ukrainian branches of companies, listed below. The thing is that big business now is probably the one and unique engine of progress and reforms in medieval and tired from Soviet heritage Ukraine.

Transgender woman refused prostate cancer test at clinic in Central
PUBLISHED : Sunday, 26 January, 2014, 5:33am
UPDATED : Sunday, 26 January, 2014, 5:33am
Lana Lam lana.lam@scmp.com

York Chow Yat-ngok, chairman of the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC)
A transgender woman wants a formal apology from a Central clinic after she was initially refused a prostate cancer screening test because a doctor said a pap smear was her only option, given that her identity card stated she was a woman.

The 59-year-old woman, who underwent sex reassignment surgery in 2010, said the clinic should have been more flexible about her medical needs when she booked the test in November. "I was so angry that I wrote to the Equal Opportunities Commission [EOC] on that same day," Michelle (not her real name) said.

A spokeswoman for the clinic, Dr Vio & Partners, said the general manager was not available for comment yesterday. She said the clinic had verbally apologised to Michelle on November 24 and a prostate cancer test was carried out on December 24.

However, Michelle is seeking a formal apology: "The clinic doesn't think it's necessary, but it's a matter of principle".

The clinic spokeswoman confirmed that the clinic was in discussions with the EOC on how to resolve the matter.

"We regret what happened, but we didn't apologise. The EOC didn't say we had to use the word 'apologise'," she said. "We had no intention to discriminate and it was the doctor's inflexibility as she did not seek advice from higher management."

On the EOC's support of Michelle's complaint of unfair treatment under the Disability Discrimination Ordinance, the clinic spokeswoman said "our higher management disagree" with the finding that being transgender was a disability.

"We are open to discussion, but if someone wants to victimise herself, I don't know," she said.

The EOC defines gender identity disorder as a psychiatric disability which falls under the Disability Discrimination Ordinance.

Michelle's complaint is one of two being handled by the Hong Kong branch of the Association of World Citizens, an NGO with consultative status with the UN's Economic and Social Council.

I just pity my fellow believers who claim to be holly that Uganda should stone the gay to death as life imprisonment is not enough like kimani maureen and so on i think God loves us the way we are!!, We are all children of God, Love one another is what the Godly prophets told us, Its only God to pass judgement, We all face the same Hell in case we sin; a chicken thief, a bank robber, a rapist, a gay, why always stick to personal issues instead of things which will help us develop? how comes a person claiming to be a believer in God/Allah preaches the gospel of punishment instead of guidance and counseling a believer supporting death which kind of Holly books do they have is this what our creator tells us to say or do to the so called sinners? tell me one person in this world who says or can stand out and say ME AM HOLLY ? sin is through thought, deeds etc , i think we should love to be together in spirit , etc otherwise the UGANDA'S GAY LAW HAS CLEARLY HELPED US TO SEE THE REAL HEARTS OF PEOPLE WHO CLAIM TO BE BELIEVERS AND HAVE BEEN TEACHING US THE GOSPEL OF LOVING ONE ANOTHER & FORGIVENESS; that none has come out to say these are our brothers and sisters who need love and counseling i thank the parliament of Uganda for bringing this testing yardstick to our self proclaimed believers otherwise LETS NOT MAKE GAY PEOPLE PRAY THAT;- OUR LORD GOD SAVIOR KINDLY SAVE US FROM YOUR BELIEVERS!! enjoy the discussions many have attacked OBAMA, DESMOND TUTU and so on but all these are the same people they have been praising for doing good but why this time on minority rights of gay people in Uganda when they came out now they are being opposed even some wishing them death? THE GAY WE ARE ACCUSING WE SHALL EITHER FIND THEM IN HEAVEN OR HELL TOGETHER . because ai think a persons going to HEAVEN is not determined by his long term deeds but his last deeds on earth at the last time of life on earth like have you accepted jesus or Allah as your God? i mean have you repented your sins so what if a gay person repents his or her sins on the last minute you a believer fails coz you died of an abrupt car accident who then to go to HELL OR HEAVEN the gay you treated badly on earth or you the believer / hypocrite ? lets preach a gospel of reconcilliation with one another not hatred because after the gay then prostitutes, then corrupt ones, then liars, then robbers and thieves and at last they will come for you..so where will the world be looking like 10years head? be blessed all.

GALE has have prepared a number of courses on sexual diversity education, which can (for European countries) be funded under Erasmus+. Each course is 4 days and one or two days come-back meeting. The courses should be done in another country than your own to get it funded. If your application is accepted by the EU, your own contribution is about â‚Ź 180 for both travels and courses, while the EU will pay all travel, accommodation, food and course fees.

The courses are:

Peer education on sexual diversity - How to discuss lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender topics with students and young adults
Schools without homophobia - Be an effective change maker in your school and more effective in mobilizing the team in combating homophobia
Dealing with strong opinions - Learn how to deal with strong opinioned students, who deny the holocaust, think homosexuals should be killed, Muslims should be sent 'home', women should be treated like property and Jews should be gassed
Strategic advocacy to mainstream attention for homophobia in schools -Assess the implementation of the right to education in your region or country and strategize a high impact strategy to improve it
Assess homophobia and transphobia in schools - This training is a workshop, which completely supports you to prepare a research strategy in your country.

UGANDA MY MOTHERLAND DON’T KILL THE GAY PEOPLE –save them for the last dance on earth!!!
‘’People demand for freedom of speech to make up with
freedom of thought but rarely exercise this freedom
when granted… to me I will not waste it until death
knocks on my door’’!!!!!!!!!!!
Uganda is a British colony in the East of AFRICA and is believed to have over 31 number of people in its population out of it 500,000 people are gay who came out openly to declare but many more still out there …..!! this means the issue of GAY RIGHTS isnt a small issue but a bigger issue which need bigger brains but not senior six leavers’ to debate on it as parliamentarians other than contributing on the highest elite people (remember to qualify for a parliamentary seat you need to be a senior six leaver not even a diploma holder and these are the people planning for the whole Uganda comprising of professors, degree holders name it )
Gay activism is believed to have originated from the European countries call it the west but I entirely disagree with this !! gay activities are as old as human kind even JESUS OR PHB . MUHAMMED found it on earth though never tempered with it, they were among us before the Europeans started invading the ounce called DARK CONTINENT (AFRICA) so this is not imported behavior because among the African kingdoms very strong men were encouraged to serve in the king’s palace as security guards and these were either castrated or refused to marry or engage in sexual activities but only to remain royal to the king as getting married would divert their minds to their families than the king’s security so as a result since you can not tame the body’s desires men could engage into anal sex which was more accessible to them with fellow men than vaginal sex which was scarce!!!! Some of the kingdoms included Buganda, Bunyoro, Dahome, Zulu , Wanga to mention but a few!! Now do not say gay behaviors are foreign!!

‘’KILL THE GAY PEOPLE-SAYS UGANDA!!!!’’
I strongly believe that gay people to some extent are born not made….and so am a Ugandan and God fearing am not a gay person but I will not sleep when am seeing the minority being discriminated upon, given inhumane treatment , their properties being vandalized, physical abuse exercised on them because they are gay !!!! NO WAY I strongly believe that they have aright to living a peaceful life so fellow Muslims and Christians in Uganda don’t kill the gay people!!

Same sex is more rampant in single sex schools because they are tightly guarded and students cannot run to get the different sex when their bodies demand for sexual intercourse many students from single schools prophesize this that same sex is available 24/7;
“ You can avoid reality but you can not avoid the consequences of avoiding reality
that’s why however, much you avoid your children from sex they get the same sex
activities to satisfy their body desires in single sex schools!!”
so if all this act has been happening then why bring such a bill …”KILL THE GAY PEOPLE” … I REALLY OPPOSE IT IN THE STRONGEST TERMS that its totally inhumane, degrading treatment, sign of backwardness, a disrespect to human rights principles, lack of proper civilization and hypocrisy of the highest order ever thought about before being exercised by religious leaders and others.

“ opposite sex is superior to same sex”
Fine and very good however, the majority shouldn’t oppress the minority and shouldn’t be a yardstick to judge the gay people who are the minority and it sounds silly and unfair to propose a vote on such a gender based sensitive issue!!! Knowing that the gay people are the minority..if so why is it that opposition always opposes voting on some political issues in some issues …? Simple answer because they know that they are the minority in parliament but now why do you want to vote on another issue knowing your brothers and sisters are the minority in society ?.. Uganda be fair to your children!!!.
To test a country’s civilization need only to visit its prisons so;
“ the degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons”
The poorer being few in number here I mean the minority compared to the majority or rich the more likely that the minority will rot in prisons hence filling them to capacity than the rich or majority who can bribe their way out.!

“ lack of well researched information on gay activities in Uganda”
Uganda lacks enough whys, hows, whats, whichs, whos, wheres whens, whoses as I may say on this issues most people who have tried to carry out research on the gay issues are mostly religious leaders who are already biased with perverted minds so what do you expect from such research results ..when doing social research at Makerere law school my lecturer advised me that to get a good research paper on any topic you have to avoid using people who are already biased or are NAÏVE and should you do it you will never get the best that’s why…
“ When am working on a problem , I never think about reality. I only
think about how to solve the problem but when I have finished
it and I feel the solution is not beautiful I know its wrong”
and it’s the reason why those clients of mine who have always come to me and accepted my words and abstained from interrupting me have enjoyed the best services ever and keep on coming back to me and referring me to greater businesses!!!
Uganda you are not smarter than some of the prominent people living or ever lived on this earth before; you are just 52 years old let your grands advise you on this In America, France, Cuba and else where leading statesmen like OBAMA, PUTTIN, FIDEL CASTRO have been put on pressure one time to give their opinions about the punishing of gay people but up to now they kept silent on the issue not because they do not know what to say but because it’s a serious gender based issue which you can not just wake up and talk about it so Uganda if you can not talk without injuring the minority gay people just find away of dodging the issue or pretend that you are busy with other more important issues like how acted; Carl (1777) was called to help when his beloved wife was dying but because he couldn’t help he pretended and said:
“Ask her to wait a moment…..am almost done!”
So Uganda my motherland you have a lot on your mind to avoid passing this outdated law, its barbaric, inhumane law etc.

AN APPEAL TO PRESIDENT YOWERI MUSEVENI KAGUTTA OF UGANDA-its not the right time for you to make enemies ssebo mzee!!!:
Mr. president the head of my motherland Uganda..you can say together with others that its too late for me to talk the parliament has already passed and approved the law only waiting for your signature to come into force but am saying its not too late to cry for mercy to save our brothers and sisters like the way Sodom and gomola were saved at the last minute by one prophet who thought and felt that destruction of the entire societies was a mistake so its not yet late because…..
” three o’clock is always too late or too early for anything you want to do”
You have won many battles right from luwero triangle bush war which brought you to power, fought the so called un believed existing LORD’S RESISTANCE ARMY (LRA) to Congo from northern Uganda upto central republic, fought the Alshababu, defended the highest openly seen corrupt civil servants of this country till they got justice then why be mind off set by a mere “kill the gay bill..?!!” ..kill the bill itself I know you are capable and really you can do it don’t be fooled I think by this time since 1985 you have been in power and its time to say good bye to our motherland as a states man but not to make enemies after being off set by the hypocrisies of religious leaders and others who want to fulfill their personal needs behave the way Voltaire(1694-1778) one of the greatest thinkers said that time when a church priest came to his sick bed and saw that the intelligent man was going to die and appealed to him to get to God and leave satan he humbly as he died said to him :
“now, now my good man , I think this is not the time for making enemies”
So president Museveni the way you have become old and secretly planning for your resignation do you feel its time for you to make enemies? Remember gay people are 500,000 yet you have other enemies in place!! Am just asking….!!

RELIGION ON SAME SEX MARRIAGE/ACTS (GAY PEOPLE):
I DONOT FEEL OBLIGED TO BELIEVE THAT THE SAME God who has endowed us with sense, reason and intellect has intended us to forego their use like thinking to kill his people because they are gay or do you think you want to say or assure me and the entire world that the gay people were not created by God but Satan?
“ you are not so holly Uganda as divine judgment can only be exercised but the supreme creator since he reserved the power of life and death to himself none else.
In the past Islam and Christianity believed that the crippled or lame were the cursed one and when born could be thrown away in bushes or killed but as levels of literacy raised they realized their mistakes and changed their ways that these are not cursed people but only need our love , care, protection and find away to make them fit in society!1
The above is not too far from the 1970s incident Iddi Amin Dada ounce the president of Uganda brought this into play:
Him being a Muslim and felt that the lame or crippled people are the cursed ones and being beggars on city streets were spreading their curses on the blessed business men who were coming to kampala so he organized government trucks lied to thinking they were cursed the crippled people that he had a good meal /party for them in jinja so they all felt happy, started singing praising songs to president iddi amnin dada as their godfather who has showed them love….. sorry for them little they knew were being taken to be off loaded in one of Uganda’s water falls in jinja which was well blessed with crocodiles, hippos and at the end it was the crocs and hippos singing jubilation songs to amin as they angrily fed on the crippled!! But up to now beggers are many on kampala streets!! And even people hate AMIN MORE than before!! So my question is ;
Uganda do you think killing the gay people is the best solution to this issue?

Secondly if gay people were born with different features on their bodies would you as an individual not a group kill that innocent gay baby because you feel its born a sinner? (No answer me …..as an individual using your senses not as a group !!) because even the lame or crippled were killed by your grand grand parents at birth in ancient African societies thinking they were cursed!!

HOLY BOOKS TEACHING ON THE GAY PEOPLE; BIBLE & QORAN RESPECTIVELY:
“gay people are wasting the seed”.
Just know;

“great people talk about ideas, average people about things & small people talk about wines”
The bible does not directly talk about gay people the old testament often refers to any action that wastes the seed as wrong so even using condoms its a wastage of the seed or any other contraceptives if am to add emphasis …so you are not such holly to accuse the gay for wasting the seed..remember this world is as old as you may think, about 3-4000 years ago there were too few people in this universe and procreation was needed but now the world has over 7billion people who even need more land for settlement meaning we do not need to try and make any more use of the seed so I don’t think any act which does not coz pregnancy can still be condemned in this modern era!! What we need is now to see how we can live in peace harmony and love with each other even God said LOVE ONE ANOTHER some men find love in women and women find klove in men but this is not always the way to go things change and men or women are finding love in the same sex!!! the idea of KILL THE GAY should stop because they have found true love in their fellow sex mates after all many same sex marriages are rarely heard to break rapidly like different sex marriages.
Though in Deuteronomy the bible tells us GO TO THE WORLD …AND HAVE DOMINION.. those are old testament sayings which no longer work and finding aman with more than 10childrens makes news in this era!!
PEOPLE NOW NEED FAMILY PLANING METHODS TO CONTROL DOMINION SO SAME SEX COULD ALSO BE A WAY OF FAMILY
PLANING ..dont kill the gay people .
We all believe that sex is the best gift ever given to us by our supreme creator but sorry that he didn’t openly tell us the best sex or even ever sent us a blue movie to watch on how to know which kind of sex to play either anal or vaginal!! Your sexual nature can not be changed by the thoughts in your mind many have tried to forge different sex marriages but still been caught in gay activities where they find pleasure when sex is used badly it calls for punishment the body does not lie and every one should look for the best sex which suits him or her why suffer in this world yet we live ounce!!!

I SUPPORT LOVE
I strongly support love, peace and harmony among people am not aroused by sex or sexually interested in other men as some of you might or may think but I can understand some people out there find love in fellow sex partners I do not judge any one the way he or she loves because judging others its God’s work not our work I rejoice when I see humans living in peace , caring for each other.
GAY ACTIVITIES WILL BRING AN END TO DIFFERENT SEX MARRIAGES
Uganda you are entitled to your opinion but don’t be like your former son KABAKA MWANGA king of Buganda who thought spreading the Christian gospel will make him lose royalty from his subjects and started setting the religious preaches on fire which event is still being looked at as a curse to Uganda in that every 3rd June people from allover the world gather to pray and end this curse!!! Yet the religion now stands and the kabaka /king still gets his royalty from his subjects …..!! So do you want to add on another curse on our calendar and the people who will live after us will be remembering the day when Gay people were put under death!!! Or you think different sex marriages can not stand when same sex marriages are existing?... I think God is the giver of life and death and its not any man’s business to end another’s life.

RELIGIOUS LEADERS’ SUPPORT TO PASS “KILL THE GAY PEOPLE BILL “ IT’S A TRUE MANIFESTATION OF THEIR HIDDEN
HEARTS:
It’s a pity that religious leaders who have been strongly advocating for ending the death penalty are again out supporting the “kill the gay bill” we we all vote to kill the gay people in Uganda or put them in prison for ever just imagine if we succeed and get all the 500,000 gay people who are likely to include our brothers, sisters, teachers, pastors, fathers, mothers, grandparents etc then after start looking for their supporters, friends for not telling us in time!!! How will you feel because….
“the law is like a young lion you can feed it on the best fresh when
still young but when it grows and starts to hunt for fresh you may
not survive being eaten by it as its best fresh at that time
yet you ounce fed it to grow!!!”
so lets feed the KILL THE GAY BILL WHEN STILL YOUNG WITH A CAUTION AND WISELY!!!

So Uganda when we kill the gay people calling them our enemies for having played same sex not different sex like we do at the end we will not remember our success in killing them but only our ignorance for having exercised it in a silly way to kill the innocent ones which will haunt us till we all die because death is awaiting every body.
According to holly books teaching “SIN IS SIN EITHER SMALL OR BIG”- all fetch the same punishment in heaven that’s is fire so why put the gay people to death yet we have those who have killed many , raped, defiled , robbed etc and are set free or given light punishments .
I think gay people are two consenting adults if people have swindled billions of money from Uganda’s ministries of Health being inclusive but only given only 10years in prison then why kill the gay whose acts do not affect any one?
“ do you want to mean that or assure the entire world including me that gay people who engage in their acts freely as two consenting adults their acts are more dangerous to society than rapists, robbers, defilers, corrupt public servants who cause pain and grief to many Ugandans, or giving a former rebel amnesty with a posh car, fancy house etc sounds great and nice who ounce killed masses of people whose relatives you didn’t even compensate for the loss suffered !!!?
What Uganda should know my motherland NATURAL LAW school of thought which calls for total observance to morality provides that a law without moral authority is not law and a law providing death for an offender its not law!!! Respect is under morality so under Positivism law school of thought it says law and morality will never enjoy the same meal on the same table without a quarrel or fight and it says break the silence forget morality...meaning under natural law incase your father rapes you yes true its immoral but just know that you owe your father moral authority and respect do not report or a shame him bear with the pain he is your father!!!... But as you stand in an open court the positivist are whispering in your ears …. forget that morality bit of law your father has offended you break the silence, report him to police give evidence against him for having raped you we want him to be judged and punished!!

From the above if we can not respect the Gay people, get rid of their ways morally, spiritually in a friendly way but only to behave like the positivists it would be wrong if in every wrong thing others do we feel punishment is the best its better we love them, care for them and make them fit in society than only thinking inside the box …”kill the gay people”.. One wise saying is that:
“if we can not get rid of skeletons (gay people) in our closets(society) lets just teach them how to dance”
Like the way we did to different sex lovers otherthan passing” kill the gay people bill” but only to make law reforms like below:

PROPOSED REFORMS TO KILL THE GAY PEOPLE BILL:
What did the earliest law makers do to make different sex lovers fit in society yet catholic brothers and sisters who were in society existed ?
Ans: it was by putting laws to control divine sex or different sex in place among its lovers like:
No sex until marriage and marriage age is 18years and above below it its an offence, no sex in public places otherwise that’s corrupting public morals, no sex without consent or else its indecent assault or rape and will call for punishment and those who have observed the laws on divine sex have enjoyed it with great love and pleasure so why put the same laws for same sex marriages where only there is divine sex or different sex you put same sex than killing the gay people !!!!
Those who want it can openly declare their intentions to the entire public that they are ready for divine sex after all:
“marriage let it be traditional or religious its all about showing
the intention of two people that we are ready, willing and
assuring you that we are now time bad to play sex”
so that’s what the people celebrates about eat food, dance and sing because Jane is going to have divine sex and is ready to do it with Tom so Uganda it costs nothing to give the gay their rights to enjoy the same rights though they are the minority compared to you the majority.

SO UGANDA WHY KILL THE GAY PEOPLE AT THE TIME WE NEED THEM MOST:
Uganda you are not so such holly that you should wish death to your beloved children for being gay people you also have dirty panties we do not want to expose now hope you remember when you stole timber and gold from congo around the 60s and again you did it just recently in 2000s did we kill you …No we didn’t so now why kill the gay who have never killed or injured any ones life? Or you think KENYA, SOUTHERN SUDAN, SOMALI your relatives are very happy for having tempered with their domestic issues yet they are independent states!!!? but have they ever come out to propose that you should be killed ?...No okay now why do you want to kill the Gay people if death is not what you wish yourself? Is it because gay people are the minority, poor who are being discriminated upon by the majority who play different sex to the extent that you are enacting a law to have them killed let it be those outside the country to be brought back home for punishment, even ready to punish and imprison all the individuals, companies, media, organizations including me who are against the “KILL THE GAY PEOPLE BILL”

Gay people may be the minority in number but when they can cause the whole Uganda and the world to shake when handled badly!!
“ an elephant can step ounce on an insect and it dies but the
same small insect can enter its ears and make it dance
NDOMBOLO YA SOOLO OR EVEN CALYPSO DANCE in great
pain till its death”
The major problem is that the gay issue is being handled by people who lack special knowledge on social research even do not know the number of people they are fighting yet it would have been discussed by academicians who know what they are doing many elites out there know that Uganda you have taken a wrong route but fear to come out publically to give their personal opinions as they fear to receive public judgment as being called gay supporters so leaving it to the low educated people to shout about pass the kill the gay bill even termed as a Christmas gift for Christians !!
I don’t think the minority gay people should suffer enough for them is enough many have lost their lives and properties for being gay and police has not bothered to give reports on that so why should they continue suffering like this!!!

“ Uganda don’t be so humble –you are not such
great to fight reality and though you can fight
it you can not avoid its consequences!!”
Religious leader if you have decided to betray God’s people by wishing them death penalty kindly;
“your religious beliefs are your business they are not and should not
be the basis for law , if you use them as justification to discriminate
against others , don’t be upset when others decide you’re an ass hole”
(jim.c. hines on reacting to those who wanted to use the bible and
discriminate women).
Social scientists, workers, lawyers, psychologists its time to help the minority get their freedom other than keeping silent , otherwise many equate this to religion but sex and religion are closer to each other but either might prefer.
Why should you raise a finger at a gay person to be killed is that what the lord’s messenger taught you? Religious leaders make your own judgment but do not hide under the holly books because even the lord’s prophets none even Jesus ever called for the gay people to be killed so where in the holly books do you get such saying that kill the gay it’s a right idea I stand to be corrected or challenged may be the Quran or bible I read it’s a fake one I dump them before its too late!!!

I think religious leaders should have distanced themselves from this cheap show off of those that me am very clean and holly so the gay should be killed or if they want to fight what they call wrong to see how best the idea can be handled but not kill the gay people because okay if gay people are enemies of Islam or Christianity then what do the two teach us about our enemies..?
“that love your enemies or..kill your enemies …..”
just beg your pardon on this!! Otherwise someone is here saying;
“never interrupt your enemy when he or she is making a mistake “
(Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821).
Even if different sex lovers we are the majority and many religious leaders might try had to fake the truth by twisting holly books teachings that killing gay people its justifiable under the eyes of our supreme creator GOD to have “kill the gay bill “made law then I guess when accused of an offence its all based on evidence even the gay when accused might fake evidence to accept the offence then say even so and so is part we were doing it together because the law has limitation periods meaning those who repent before religious leaders are supposed to be handled over to police to be prosecuted though they have abandoned gay activities then those religious leaders who keep quite can be charged with the offence of being an accessory before or after the offence was committed and also be put to punishment.
So as you faker the law for the minority just know they are not sleeping but also in their beds thinking because being the majority does not make you smarter otherwise :
“ women are the majority in the world they can fake orgasm during sex to please
the men who are the minority but men can also fake the whole relationship and
make women go crazy!!!”
so you majority go slow on the minority gay people as………..

GAY PEOPLE ARE BORN NOT MADE:
This issue needs scientific research and this could be the reason why the president before signing the bill to make it law had to first send it to the scientists for their opinion if these people are born or made or just total madness in them otherwise I believe these people are normal and live within us so complain sparingly as the next person could be one of them this reminds me one tv program me when two Ugandan pastors were invited in studio to give their opinions that was pastor martin & sserwadda against one gay person Juliet victor sserwadda bitterly said that even I blame the families you come from for your parents to hae failed to bring you upright including the churches you go to….!!! Some of us who were watching the programe and who know victor and talked to him before we kept a watch on his lips as the two pastors looked at him Juliet frankly said he grew up from a Christian family whereby the parents could not let them watch any tv show save UTV NEW, HABARI, DIDDIS SHOW AND KALINIMI SHOW, MIND YOUR LABNGUAGE!! I myself I remember these tv programmes on utv, so he told them its his choice to be gay and feels satisfaction when is having sexual intercourse with a same sex partner and that however, much he tried it with different sex it couldn’t work , also told the pastor that his church is kireka victory Christian church where he prays a musical instrument called an accordion which makes sweet sound played by a gay and whenever the senior pastor of victory churches that is sserwadda!!!! Enters or visits dances sweetly to this music pastor sserwadda looked at victor and couldn’t believe that he is one of his sheep in the church but a gay!!! Pastor became speechless so if the law was in place would the pastor have survived punishment being an associate with a gay because ignorance of the law is no defence and knowledge or mensrea may not be an element of the offence!!

Also many videos have been posted about one of the prominent Ugandan richest pastor victims saying he bum shafted them meaning he engages in homosexuality as they claim so assuming its found out to be true and brought under the law and suffers death just imagine how many people are going to miss his sweet Christian gospel teachings, his fashion designs, financial support to different organizations which will be affected by his arrest and killing!!! So from this point am saying my beloved UGANDA do not kill the gay people but give them their rights and restrict them as you did to different sex lovers in order for them to enjoy their sex like:
-make it divine and legal they go to church and wed be blessed, like in south Africa, Sweden and just restrict the illegal gay sexual acts like forceful sex, sex with under aged, let them get married when they are 18years below that its an offence, let them have their sexual activities in privacy like the different sex lovers, give them their rights and those who infringe on their rights commits an offence of infringing on someone’s privacy!!!

Lets not accuse, discriminate , physically or in anyway abuse, vandalize their property or even think about killing them that we are fighting a wrong out of society because it’s a well-known saying that:..
“Two wrongs do not make a right”
To get rid of sin as you say does not necessarily call another to commit a sin of killing because we were all created by one God, whose ways are very tough to understand because he creates a crippled person and you find him or her laugh at him or her then Our God becomes annoyed with you yet he is the one who created ..so before you propose the gay people to be killed just know that…….
“our supreme GOD is a comedian playing to an audience filled with
young and old people, educated and uneducated, pastors and pagans,
politicians etc who are enjoying his comedy show but very very afraid
to laugh as they might annoy him and get punishment”.
God created us in his own image saints, thieves, short, tall, whites, blacks, straight, gay, etc and this does not take it away from us that we come from one God otherwise do you want to say that gay people were created by Satan and we need to kill and get rid of them!!! Am saying know God tell us to love one another so that this world becomes a peaceful world to live in.

UGANDA GAY ISSUE NEEDS LOGIC NOT YOUR BASELESS THINKING PLEASE:
Lets use all our senses and logical examples than hiding under personal frustrations, holly books misinterpretations to have the gay killed so lets take this logical example:

How are you affected if you see X an adult lady entering their matrimonial house with Y a male well knowing that at night they are going to have sex? … I think you feel nothing and normal unless you really also love one of them then you can feel pain!!! So if you see the same X entering the house with another same sex Y and do enjoy their anal sex privately how are you affected ..You may claim that anal sex is very painful..STOP IT you are not a gay for them no problem with it and don’t imagine what you do not know or do you want to assure us that you are so much affected by another’s bum pain when being shafted by another in that you should come in to defend him or her before he or she calls for your help!!! And how many out there enjoy your sex scream on top of your voices to even wake your neighbors but none has ever come to accuse you is it because your sex is taken to be holly than same sex?

I do not buy the research made against gay people because most of the researchers are already biased, naïve so what do you expect from such people’s research?
So if you think different sex is sweeter that’s to you but to gay people same sex is the sweetest and that’s what life is since many think:
“ life is pleasant but to others death is peaceful”
So do not make the gay people may be think that this world is another planet Hell!!.
To me as per now I believe gay people don’t deserve death but just want protection from being discriminated upon
“ many people are suffering in this world and even if you bring them God they do not need him unless he appears to them as bread than they will accept him, so now the gay people do not need your religious believes but only to be reorganized in society as humans too!!”
Even many out there saying Uganda kill your gay people yet many of you have them there too, so why want to kill someone else’s children and spare yours, this issue has clearly showed that pastors and other religious leaders are just preaching but their hearts are filled with merciless behaviors ! Why say kill the gay people yet holly books say do not kill are you too holly to move on water or can we ask for church or mosque accountability for money given in to help the needy ever since you joined and we see how you start pleading to the soil to swallow you in the almighty’s name!!!?
Lets not make gay people change their prayersd to the almighty they have been saying befor and start praying to our and their God;
“Our father in heaven save us from your followers”
Because should God hear their prayers!! Do not say he cant he is a complicated GOD as he hears for robbers to succeed in robbing us and actually do…!! It means 500.000 gay Ugandan people will leave the church open up theirs, build their own hotels, schools, etc I know what it means when some one does something after your……!!

“If you have got nothing good to say about gay people come sit next to me”
Otherwise we have to be careful fellow Ugandans when discussing something and we do not know where we are ending because we can end up there alive, dead or crippled!!
After reading all this many are going to say no may be Edirne has gone insane please am not okay if lam every one is insane but the degree of insanity varies otherwise:
“NO SANE MAN WILL DANCE”
This time now you may say kill the gay but one day these people will have their rights and write books about you oppressing them, like the way the blacks were oppressed by the whites in America but its now OBAMA( hee hee O.B.A.M.A; Original Black African Managing Americans) a black African leading them.
So lets not be forced that religion is a hypothesis by seeing our religious leaders who would have showed us what to do supporting…”kill the gay people” killing has never been good to Godly people!!
You will accuse me , wish me death, call me any sorts of names, broke me as others will send me more requests for having supported the gay minority rights, but I will remain fortune edrine!! I do not mind what you say because am an independent human rights activist for the minority, a corporate legal consultant and legal researcher ,so you are entitled to your opinion about me, hate love me and those who want to share more with me wats up me on 0705815279, tweeter: fortune edrine, email: fortuneedrine@gmail.com

Hi - I wanted to leave you with a mostly positive story, which is nevertheless laced with frustration. I socialised within the gay community from 1886 to 1995, in the UK. The reason was so that I could cope at the time with my 'gender dysphoria' (as it was called) - this led to my full gender change. Later, I effectively moved, though not deliberately, more into the 'straight world' but as a post-op transsexual (M to F). I have managed to work professionally since 1996 in a well-respected role, without anyone knowing. I have not 'come out' - even though I have been in two 'lesbian' relationships during that time. I wanted to state this now because it proves that transgendered people can work well in society. However, the frustration has been that coming out would have ended my career - of that I have no doubt. The number of people who openly castigate gay people and transgendered in particular, to my face, without the slightest idea about me is remarkable. If there is a joke in any of this it is on them - but of course, it's not funny. In my role, I do the best I can to educate people - but it has to be subtle, with small moves... My gay and transgender experiences have been wonderful and I would never go back on them - but it has been a long and hard road. I found I needed to be very resilient. Thanks for reading this.

Allied NATO Government is hiding millions of infectious NON HIV AIDS cases (like mine) under the "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)" ICD-code.

- Dr. Lorraine Day on Riley's THE POWER HOUR (09/12): "...HIV-Negative AIDS cases falsely reported and treated as CFS cases may be one of the biggest cover-ups we have seen."

- In 1992 "...Newsweek made an even more shocking announcement: …CFS patients who had the same immune system deficiencies as the NON-HIV AIDS cases..."

- Dr. Judy Mikovits stated on In Short Order (11/12) about CFS & Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME): "…consider this as NON HIV AIDS."

My case goes up through the NIH, CDC, White House, WHO, to the UN. I testified federally in Washington-DC, and am published 23 times on 4 continents (including PEOPLE’S VOICE, PFLAG, BEST GAY NEWS, & FUSE GAY AND BLACK MEN'S MAGAZINES).

LIFE AS BOTH A GAY MAN AND AN LGBTIQ ACTIVIST IN HOMOPHOBIC UGANDA:

life of an LGBTIQ person in Uganda can be one of the hardest things to cope up with. i was born in a family of 14 children and am the 9th born hailing from the western district of mbarara. born 2nd Oct 1984. i have lived a life of confusion and deeper thoughts bout what I am but all this came to an end in 2005 when i started interacting with people born like me. it took me time to accept the reality basing on the fact that i was raised form a typical catholic family which always talked ill about same sex relations.i would feel confused especially life as a primary school kid when my other male peers would be chasing after girls in hide and seek games, i would prefer to have company of fellow boys.all this was such horrific to my growing up as a typical mukiga(my tribe) since it was an abomination to have feelings for the same sex especially men who are taken as masters of the clan.its long but i can say life through primary to secondary was a bit confusing not until when i joined A-level i would get a chance to Google all things about same sex attractions which gave me hope for a new life.this also helped me to meet and interact with fellow gay men and lesbian sisters through social media friendships. indeed this marked anew beginning for my life.

MY LIFE AS A GAY ACTIVIST:
if some names that have worked tirelessly but not ever mentioned and received a global award as per fighting for LGBTI equality in Uganda, i must confess that i cant fail to appear among the top personalities that have worked for the Ugandan lgbtiq movement with great enthusiasm but left untalented about beyond the Ugandan borders. i joined the Ugandan lgbtiq struggle in 2009 but i can say within these few years i have faced the worst and best of my life. life as a gay activist in Uganda is sacrificing your life for the sake of others, i have been disowned by my family, i have been threatened to get beheaded with many strange scaring messages, i have lost most of my straight friends , i have lost jobs from the straight fraternity,i have been evicted from many houses, i have been attacked in many social places like bars, i have been outed in the media, i have and am still suffering with life due to lack of support from either sides especially problems of rent and upkeep but i vowed never to back down. Ambrose has been at a fore front of many projects for the betterment of Ugandan lgbti members ranging from health, capacity building program, income generating programs, advocacy campaigns to fight the anti-homosexuality bill and many more, remarkable of all i was the lead mobilizer for the first gay pride in Uganda the beach pride Uganda 2012 which will always be historical..i am happy to have been part of the first ever seven committee members for having organized this first gay pride in 2012 and again we did it in 2013.all in all i can say that life after 20th December 2013 when the bill was passed has scared me much and am scared to talk much of it.many arrests, living in fear, police invading peoples homes and all this is horrific. i conclude saying that our allies keep the support on, keep praying for lgbti Uganda since the situation has worsened.

Dear all,
Together with a friend of mine I have been working on a project named ClosetRiot. This project is about producing a small clothing line with the aim to create awareness for gay rights and to raise money for gay activists through the pridefund http://www.amnesty.nl/pridefonds.
To be able to produce the first set of clothes we launched a crowd funding campaign http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/closetriot/x/6001936, which will end the 14th of February. Take a look and tell us what you think.
But we need your help to spread this crowd funding campaign, and to reach our goal and start producing the shirts and sweaters.
It would be tremendously helpful and kind if you would spread the campaign through your network and maybe even donate a little.
We think the issue of gay-rights is not exposed enough and will always need exposure. We also feel that with the upcoming winter Olympics it is important to show the world that it is actually unacceptable to have an event as the Olympics hosted by a country that doesn’t seems to be concerned about human rights, and gay rights in particular.
Yours sincerely

Maybe people are starting to think LGBTXYZ people are all a bunch of hypocrites and fascists who deserve to die. Why else would ILGA discriminates against people based on sexual orientation by kicking out organizations like NAMBLA because you disagree with their goal of everyone being liberated, and that's why ILGA distributes propaganda conflating love with sexual abuse. ILGA is sick.

Nigeria is a country with over 170 million people and shares boarders with the Republic of Benin,Cameroon and Niger. Nigeria is largely shared between 2 major religions which are the muslims that largely dominate the northern part and the christians in the western part though there were other religions but these are the 2 major conservative. I grew up in a country where homosexuality is totally frowned upon by the society, the government and the religion. Growing up as a child actually was fun not until when I openly came out with my sexuality to my family and that made the beginning of my journey into neglection, punishment and denial of some basic rights just because of my sexuality. This led to me being taken to a deliverance house with the hope of me being a better person but after four years this changed nothing about me till date. Few years later I ran into the hands of the corrupt Nigerian government cohorts [police} where I suffered several attacks and threats of been killed or jail term. My gay life has not been an interesting one from the age of thirteen till now that I am 24 coupled with the fact that I am gay man living with HIV.

Hi everyone.

My name is Christian Martinez from Canada and I live in the Dominican Republic. I am known as Canada Inc, a movie and video producer. I have been helping youths here for the last 8 years record their music for free and promoting them through web tools we have developped over the years. 3 years ago, a young transvestite (I am not gay and not a professional in the terms so excuse my ignorance but he is a young boy who likes to dress as a girl. Looks very good. Anyway point is this boy comes and starts recording a style we had never heard of. Litterally GAY Reggaeton. We are in a country where police still beat gays just for being gay in the streets where Haitians are being denationalized and where the possibility for a human being to be treated properly when he or she is admitedly gay is almost 0. Somehow, in the middle of this homofobic and racist environment, his/her songs actually became popular. His face is starting to be recognized (20 million views in youtube last 2 years) and he has been a tremendous embassador for the gay movement. I am asking you all to please visit youtube and view his/her videos. Their great and colorfull but most of all their historical. We are in a country where the president took hours deciding if he would go to the inoguration of the new american embassador because he is gay. Please help us make this kid a international star so Dominicans can start seeing their gay comunity as people and worth being proud of. I have grow up with a gay mother in Canada and I have seen what hatred can do. In the 70s it was truely not easy. I remember how it changed and acceptance came through famous people everyone loved. Or so I remember.

People, raise your voices. Create a huge group. As a western law student, we learn that power come from people. Machiavelli says in his book, the Prince, that religion shall be used to create love and fear in his population. Sure, everybody has the right to have your own religion, but this should be a choice, not imposed by Sharia law. Fight for human rights, doesn't matter what is your religion or how conservative your country is. You, together, will make a difference. You all could interact in here, then, add a larger number of people, go to the streets, make a noise. Don't stop until you make it. Go for international aids, spread the world. Easterns are brave, challenge the biggest power if needed to fight for their believes. Read about LGBT families, I am part of one and there's nothing wrong with it. GO FOR IT, LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND, PLANT A SEED IN THE PRESENT AND CHANGE THE FUTURE! God loves you all

I have lived in South Korea for 3 years, I have loved every moment of my time.. so far!

I think this is a very Gay friendly country behind the scenes .

Legally the system is dated and the role of the Church dominates.

Change is needed and it is needed quickly because the world we live in HAS CHANGED and the Koreans need to get with the times..

Please sign my petition http://chn.ge/15MLc7k

As a Gay guy, I am concerned about the shame that society places on homosexuality. In Korea you have the proud Gay and the closet... who often gets married to a woman, under a joke of a situtation bogged down with contracts or a guy who will leave the country or take their own life.. the latter is my biggest concern... as it the situtation of parents throwing their kids out..

Please help SEOUL to wake up!

I find it ironic that Adjushis (old men) are allowed to rape freely in Saunas without problem or to feel men or women up and down in public without issue. I was on a Metro when an Old man touched my backside and then penis, I shouted at him, not one person did anything and the Korean Police simply took notes and said it happened an awful lot but because it is a Gay issue, it doesn't matter.

This country is awesome but THERE are problems.

Gays in the Army are asked hundreds of question to prove Gayness.

AKA WAKE UP and issue EQUAL RIGHTS

Under the Representations of Gender Believe System

Wisnu Adihartono Reksodirdjo is a PhD Candidate in sociology in Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) – Marseille, France.

I have much of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) friends in Indonesia, particularly in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, the city where I live. One day, one of my best friends in Senior High School came to Jakarta from Toronto (Canada). He asked me to have a coffee. I wondered since long time ago that he is gay, but since he did not tell me about his sexual orientation, I do not want to ask him first because I think that is not my business. When we were in school, I did not catch that he is gay because he acts like a macho man. He is handsome, gorgeous, chique and à la mode. He was such an idol. Since I heard from his classmate that he had a girlfriend, I assume that he is not gay.

The day that we met, we talked and shared about our lives, including our love lives. And finally he confessed that he is gay. He asked me why I did not shock. I told him that I already guessed his sexual orientation since we were in high school. He told me that he stays now in Toronto with his Canadian business men. They met in Bandung when my friend took his study in one of the best universities in Bandung. I asked him accidentally why he chosen Canada as his country of destination instead of Indonesia. He laughed and he said that is a moron question. I know that this type of question makes him laughed. He explained that it is very impossible to be gay in Indonesia. He added that when he comes out, State, society, and religion will totally reject his sexual orientation. Those three “things” automatically blocked the existence of LGBT peoples. They cannot express themselves and they do not have any access to fight their freedom. They will be stigmatized by society as a sick person. That is why he decided to move to other country to seek a freedom.

How the State and society create the system of differentiation between heterosexual peoples and homosexual peoples when in fact, in my opinion, we have avoided this. In a society, the creation of that system is made by the concept of social imagination, social representation, and gender belief system.

In a simple phrase, social representation by French social psychologist, Serge Moscovici is basically conceptualized as a concept to merge ideas and values in one package within society in sharing the experiences with the tool of social imagination.
Social imagination has a strong relation with how we set our mind. When we imagine something or someone, we use, indeed, our mind to produce and reproduce the beliefs, the “good”, the “bad”, and the “sinner”? In general, social imagination made us imagine what is “good” and what is “bad”. He can intervene in our everyday lives with their power of perception to make any opposition, for example to legitimate/to illegitimate, to justify/to accuse, to convince/to discriminate, to include/to exclude, etc.

Marked by a perception, social representations grow out of the discussions people pursue in making sense of their social lives.

This is what happened in Indonesia to address the issue of homosexuality. Social representations build a border between heterosexuals and homosexuals with a rigid system called gender belief system.

Basically, the gender system consists of an institutionalized set of social practices, used to distinguish between men and women, but also in the end, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT). This system used to organize the social relations on the basis of apparent difference and inequality. In other words, the gender system made a stereotype between human being. Derived from the idea of difference, it is clear that the gender system used the hegemony system as the ruling ideology.

The emergence of gender system through interaction between peoples creates a belief in defining gender. So, we can make an interpretation that in gender belief system, peoples must accept stereotypes as descriptive of most others and use those stereotypes to form performance expectations.

The homosexuality in Southeast Asia, in particular, develops within the framework of the concept described above, because for most of Southeast Asian peoples, sex categorization is automatic, fast, and unconscious where they cannot relate to another without first sex categorizing. As a PhD student in sociology from one of the countries in Southeast Asia, a change within our current gender system is difficult and very slow, but I believe it is not impossible.

In the U.S context, prominent domestic organizations sought to establish LGBT normalcy and inclusion as a means of assimilating into the heterosexual mainstream in order to change the minds and hearts of heterosexuals, pressuring local LBGT communities and individuals to give up their own sense of self and experience. I think its important to remember that stressing that " LGBTI people" are as normal as heterosexuals and deserve acceptance precisely because we are like every one else (aka straight people) was a political strategy. We need to remember what is normal and natural in society is constructed, our understandings of these categories are made up by mainstream society and politics. We should take pride in our difference and our queerness, we should not feel that we must make ourselves normal for others in order to feel good or enough or deserving of rights. there is no normal

Hey there. This is Bushra from Bangladesh. I currently live in Dhaka and I'm 19 years old. I've been working with some Bangladeshi organisations that deal with sexual minorities in Bangladesh. I myself am trying to build up an organisation that deal with only lesbians and bisexual women in Bangladesh. Our aim is to reach out to as many women we can to invite them to this group so that they can be themselves. Homosexual people are still very discriminated in this country. We are providing them a space to open themselves up, talk it out and do some social work as safely as possible.

I hope ILGA and other Bangladeshi fellows will appreciate our/my work and maybe a part of it.
Take good care all.

Living in the United States and being bisexual is probably easier than most other countries but for me it's still been hard. I figured it out quite recently actually. My parents don't know and I don't plan on telling them. My friends know and I hope they don't think any different of me. I'm happy that the states are starting to allow gay/lesbian marriages and it makes me happy that people are finally starting to think of people like me as normal. 5 years ago if I had told somebody I was bisexual I would be made fun of, I'd be frowned upon. Now in our growing world people are finally accepting us. We are stepping forward one step at a time showing people that we're no different than them. People might hear that someone is gay and call them rude things. It's happened to me. Of course when the person called me lesbian I denied it and just went back to what I was doing but honestly, it hurt. It hurt me a lot because I knew that they were thinking rude thoughts towards me. I could just tell. Yes, our economy is changing, our countries are changing, but they just aren't changing fast enough for us. We need people to stand up for us and help us fight the discrimination. I say we as in everyone on this planet. Not just LGBTI people. Everybody needs somebody to fight for them and to fight for. I want to be the kind of person who does both. The bible says things like "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable." Do you know how this makes us feel?? We go to our schools, to our homes, possibly to church, thinking about the kind of person we are and maybe even feeling good about ourselves and then we remember something like this and it's like a knife to the back. We are individual human beings with our own minds and feelings. We can't change who we are.

Hi everyone!

Today I'm not here for review the situation of LGBTQI law in Italy, or prejudice, or discrimination. I'm here only for give you some information about the crap of the actual law process.

At the Governament, we approved a racist and homophic law, when we discuss about an anti-homopobhic law! That's crazy! Only for tutelate an ipotetic "opinion", for our 21 code of the Costitution.
Anyway, nobody want this law, because it's eterophobic too, so that will never pass to the next step of the organization of the law in Italy. I'm sure of that.

I'm 15 and I fight every day for our rights. Human rights. I think that's important a law, but it's important to change the human minds. The human rights it's not an opinion and it isn't an expression or something. It's a crime. A human crime. A crime about the entire world. Because I'm impressed to see about the country with the "mortal law". WHAT?! You kill someone because it's different to you and because he love someone? You are juest crazy!

So, I hope India won't come back to up 148 years. And I hope Russia will improve the intelligence of it's Premier (Putin) and will be a better place for every human in this planet.

I hope. I hope everything. I wish one day, in the world, there will not be enough ignorant and racist people to construct a culture around hate and dicrimination. I wish, one day, the entire world will be just more human, and less criminal.

Bye,
