Dr. Weiss worked with President Clinton/Vice President Al gore in administration as Special Assistant and he also works with President Clinton now on the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). Dr. Marc Weiss is a humanitarian and speaks for the poor, underpriviledged, and Forgotten.
The memoir I Rise-The Transformation of Toni Newman speaks of a forgotten community and underpriviledged group of people facing double discrimination and hardships. It is the first time an African American Transgender speaks of her hardships so detailed and so clearly. The actual book is a excellent read and detailed memoir.
We were hoping to get organization to Support Transgender Toni Newman and her book I Rise for equal rights and equal laws for all persons including Transgenders. As Law School Student Her goal is for equal rights and equal justice for Transgenders especially minority transgenders.
