It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you.
My name is Montasir Abdelfatah Naif Palestinian hold (Palestinian Egyptian document) 26 years was born in United Arab Emirates.
I would like to show you my problem and I hope that you can help me.
I have lived here in the UAE for over 26 years and I am a gay man. I do not know if you can help me, but any form of advice is welcomed. As a Palestinian person here in the UAE my sexuality is illegal. I do not have any passport other than an Egyptian Palestinian document as the UAE Assosiation did not give me the passport or at least a permanent visa although I was born in the UAE and I don't have any criminal record as well I have a bachelor degree. I cannot leave the country or even work here in the UAE as I find many difficulties to obtain any work due to my nationality. I donot have any civil rights due to my nationality and no body respect me here and I am treated as third or fourth class person also if somebody knows that I am gay he/she avoid me immediately. As you know as a plaestinian I cannot go back to my country Palestine because it is occupied by Israel and I am banned to come back by the Israeli governmet.
I am sure that you are a very busy, but I implore you to help me in some way if you can. I have written to so many people, but they ignore me. I feel so helpless and depressed. What can I do to improve my life? I read about your Assosiation and know that you help the humanity and human rights. I am sure you realize how Palestinians are suffering here and this is made worse due to my sexuality.
Please can you give me some kind of advice if you can or how to get asylum. I have been assured that your Assosiation is good and with a lot of principals and morals. I would really appreciate your advice in any form
