I am a Syrian guy living in Syria, and in short I can say that the Middle East could be the worst place for a LGBTI to live in. Both law and society look at us (LGBTI) as freaks, people hate you, your family abandons you and you might be sent to jail for years. Moreover, the Islamic law orders LGBTI to be killed or wiped. The only way to communicate woth other LGBTIs is the internet( Whch is not really useful). so if you are a LGBTI, you might reconsider your trip to the Syrian Arab Republic.

I have been dating a Syrian living in belfast Northern Ireland.I was disturbed yesterday when he told me he dates both men and women.I asked why he did not say he was bisexual before and he got angry and left my house.Could it be that he did not leave Syria of his own volition but was made to emmigrate?
