I would like to see more support for gays and lesbians living in the Caribbean especially those seeking to change the constitution of the countries. LGBT organizations are struggling for help and we definitely need direction and assistance especially in getting legislation changed and making gays and lesbians understand themselves and realize that there is nothing to be ashamed of.

To many times i have been bashed and seen gay bashing and police take it for a joke and have lived with two gay friends murdered just because they were who they are...gay. Now a new trend is emerging where parents send their kids after gays/lesbians and try to bribe you into paying them money. I am a victim of such even though a medical practitioner has proven that i never had sex with the young man the mother tried to get money from me thus destroying my name, career and nearly my family. We need protection from monsters like this.

There is a gay association here but its quiet as gays here are afraid of standing up and banding together to fight for protection under the law...instead they resort to bickering and fighting each other. Please ILGA help us!!! tetchob@gmail.com
