Hey "anonmous" guy,
1st i just want to say that the middle east has always been known and proven to be one of the very most contradictory regions in the entire World. Though i do realize that a bit of contradiction and dishonesty has been seen in almost every country ever conceived into being, but by far the Islamic countries sit above all in that category!
Now i would like to emphasize the extent to which Islam, the Quran and the various Hadith of our beloved Prophet has been interpreted to match the needs of the various middle-aged, homophobic, illiterate, power-seeking men who claim to doing the noble act of "explaining" the teachings of Islam wrongly to the people.
Homosexuality isn't one of the "kaba2er" of Islam that will automatically kick you out of the Islamic Sharea. Not to mention, its been conclusively proven time and time again that being gay IS NOT A CHOICE TO BE MADE! So i don't imagine Allah would want punishment in forced on gays who had little choice on the matter to begin with. But their are certain choices to be made when you have established if your homosexual , some of which include: who you chose to include with this peice of information, give you do chose to come out, and whether or not you chose to "practice" your sexuality or not. However, societies in Jordan choose to apply Share'a punishment wherever and to whomever and in whichever circumstance they feel suitable, which is why most fathers and mothers in our societies chose to stone their gay sons (ps: this is not an exaggeration point it actually is pretty damn common) and daughters to death while they let their rapists, war criminals, spies and terrorists out loose in the world!
so my personal opinion is that if you are gay or a lesbian but you are disgusted by yourself as a result of the disaproval your society has expressed, just be yourself and let those hypocritical societies fuck themselves hard in the ass! Do whatever you wish to do and take informed decisions and don't give a damn about what people think!
