like any other case of brothers Iraqis in Iraq and the rest is in fear
and suspicion and anxiety My name is Hassan, 28 years old from
Baghdad, and I work as a journalist, beginning at and I experienced
and a number of areas, and I'm good at English and French, in spite of
the mother tongue Arabic, and I frankly I lived my life in anxiety and
fear that Ekshffine one that I am Gay, and I can not live my life this
very moment that I was young, had been harassed several, although
Tstre what inside of me and my story to this case with a member of the
government in Iraq, it made me live a state of dread and fear of
severe escape from Baghdad and live temporarily in northern Iraq, and
please help me in this matter and I await your response because I
desperately need you and thank you very much with appreciation

I shocked when I was in Iraqi Kurdistan region which is a secular part of iraq and its a very liberal place compare with other islamic countries, freedom is unlimited you could feel that you are not in east its almost like Europe! except only one point wich is homosexuality! Iraqi kurdistan region have a separate law and constitution which is most of the paragraph based on French and Scandinavian constitution with a little islamic liberal law but for the gay person still they use that paragraph of iraqi law against homosexual which is consider gay act as a crime and sickness and sentence them 2-4 years jail!!! I ask every one and ILGA to write a protest letter to the kurdish administration take away that craime and sickness in that paragraph against homosexual and freedom of homosexuality from 18 years of age ! there are some hidden gay organization in some cities but they need support from us ! if you care about others gay people in diffrent part of the world we appreciate if you write a protest letter to
