This is Ainara on behalf of MiraLES Magazine Madrid.
Our online magazine has the aim to promote lesbian visibility around the world, and obviously as a mean of information for the lesbian community. The issue is really spread out in Europe and South America, since the main language is Spanish, becoming the most read lesbian online magazine in Spain and South America. Now we have it in English too.
Next month we are doing a special number on Islam therefore all our sections will be oriented to cover women and lesbians life under this religion in order to create acknowledgement of this reality in Europe and South America.
I am in charge of "Lesbians around the world" section. Probably you are not aware of this section. Fortunately you can read some examples on MiraLES as there is an English version of them. This will give you an idea of the type of work we do. http://mirales.net/eng/?cat=12
So basically we are looking for a testimony, written on first person by a lesbian girl that would like to share her own experience. If any of you is interested please send us an email to the following address: directora@mirales.es
