I TEACH ABOUT QUEER RIGHTS AND LGBT RIGHTS AS PART OF THE THE UNIT ON SOCIAL MOVEMENTS AND SOCIAL CHANGE, HUMAN RIGHTS, FAMILY AND MARRIAGE. STUDENTS THUS GET EXPOSED TO OTHER POSSIBILITIES; THEY GET EDUCATED ABOUT ALTERNATIVES. THEY WILL IDENTIFY WITH THEIR SEXUAL IDENTITY. I MAKE AN EFFORT AS A TEACHER TO TEACH TOLERANCE AND RESPECT FOR ALL SEXUAL IDENTITIES AND ORIENTATIONS; AS WELL AS IN THE USE OF LANGUAGE THAT IS INCLUSIVE.
