For me (middle class in Quito)it has been easy to be gay in Ecuador, my family is very accepting and I have a lot of support from my friends. I live with my partner and hopefuly we will start a civil union soon.

I think we need to work a lot to be able to get married and adopt kids but we are on a good track.
