A few weeks ago in Croatia an initiative called ''In the name of the family'' launched a petition for a referendum to amend the Croatian Constitution so that it would define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. To achieve this, they had to collect ca. 450,000 signatures (10% of the electorate). They have collected more than 700,000...

Gay people have never had it easy in my country, which is mostly Catholic and extremely homophobic. Now I'm afraid they don't stand a chance. Although this is only an online petition and it won't affect the referendum at all, please sign and share this to show the Croatian LGBTQ community that there are still people in this world who believe in love, tolerance and human rights.

Today we saw a new internet page www.homopopis.com
on site they say:

*preventing citizens of croatia we want to point on gay people in croatia so other normal people can see them

*send us pictures of faggots and dykes in big resolution

they are posting picture they have taken on gay pride im pretty shure they cant do that

I am HIV positive person and I live in Zagreb. My family registered doctor does not know about my HIV status, that is why there is special institution that take care of HIV positive persons. Health care is good, the doctor for HIV treatments is really good. If I have other problems, I dont go to my family doctor but to him, so this protect me from many misunderstandings with other clinics and doctors.

The problem is, that I should start to take a pills. Doctor told me that we still do not have that kind of pills (that treat HIV and Hepatitis B) that would be good for me. Probably Croatia bought only cheap one, that are not so perfect for me. I hope I will be able to move to Germany soon to have complete and the best medical care as possible. Thank you.
