I have been delegated to participate in the ISO 26000 Social Responsability Standard definition on Denmark on may 17-21, 2010. In this meeting the topic of sexual orientation as an issue on the non discrimination requirement has been a matter of controvertial discussion, mainly because of the opposition of the arab countries. Discussion continues. Main topic is the visibility of the word in the text of this international standard or its deletion. Arguments are heard regarding those countries who promote the inclusion and those who promote the exclusion.
