WARNING: CAYMAN ISLANDS HAS STATE-SPONSORED HATE OF SEXUAL MINORITIES
Half the population of the CI are expatriots who are lured, among other things, to the implication that the Union Jack in the corner of the flag represents some protections for human rights. NOT SO! CI passed a constitution gutted of human rights provisions behind closed doors between government and a few homophobic preachers. Also, if you work for a government or public authority, your boss may require that you attend a religious service where these men harangue sexual minorities in a fashion that is shocking. The corner of the flag should be replaced by a swastika as no non-christian or sexual minority person is safe here.
