Mark I appreciate your input. I liken the Left's poiitlcal agenda, and the hypocrisy on both sides of the table to poiitlcal schizophrenia; a poiitlcal word salad that makes no sense. The dumbfounding of Americans seems to be the ultimate goal, and appears to be working. In the 80's, I was a liberal activist, and we preached that marriage was the evil patriarchy rearing its head to gain power over all of us. Twenty years later, I'm befundled that the same activists are now pushing to belong to the evil patriarchy we so despised before. Now granted, in 20 years I grew up and became a conservative (we do all change, hopefully), yet the fervor with which the LGBT (and whatever else you wish to ascribe to it) community is screaming for the very thing we screamed against 20 years ago just blows me away. I can make no sense of it, other than my belief that they LG community really only bought into an idea set for it by the progressive movement, to find further ways to divide families and communities.First, the LG community, in my opinion, needs to stop being the dog pound of misfits. Let the T and Q communities start their own.Second, lesbians and gays in America need to recognize that they are Americans before they are homos. I don't care how many promises the Left makes to give equal rights (which never come to fruition ie; Clinton and DADT), if the country we live in becomes socialist instead of a Republic, we will be next in line for the ovens (just ask Hitler's homos). LGs should be standing up for freedom, because only through freedom will there be any.And third, there are more important battles than the M word right now; such as the right to serve this great country in the armed forces, and not face discrimination because of sexual preference.Until the community wakes up and realizes it's been duped, it will remain a community divided, with no boundaries, and no poiitlcal power save for the trojan horses offered it by the Left.
