Well first off i would like to say i am not a LGBTI. I am a straight CHINESE guy who is in love with an incredible Muslim girl.

When i was first born in this country, I thought it was the greatest country in the world but as i grew older. Brunei seems more of a prison with new strict laws and racism.

I will start off with how i feel about some muslim. Honestly saying and i mean no offense but there are a lot of racist muslim in this country and they are very complacent. Just because this is a islamic country, doesn't mean they are top of the food chain. I mean have you seen the latest top Ten students in education in brunei? There is either 1 or 2 but mostly none of them are muslim/malay even in Jawi and Malay Language itself. Which is just sad. Again i mean no offense i'm just stating a fact. Plus muslim/malay tend to care about there own kind despite there is another better person out there waiting in line. For example, I apply to MD with 4 A and 3 B with a D in malay, THEY REJECT ME and MOE said it is because i am malaysian(green IC) hence it is a compulsory for me to have at least a credit in malay while a Malay(muslim) went in and got accepted into MD with 5 C and 3 D even in malay language. Seriously this act drives intelligent people who want to improve brunei away!

Next i would like to talk about the laws of brunei.
Actually i am gonna talk about a few law which i find very very unfair which have recently made a lot of problems into people's life in brunei including the malay itself.

First The law about to marry a muslim, you have to convert to islam or you would be stone to death.
I find this law pretty shitty because you are forcing people to become muslim. Have the government even thought about the consequence of such actions? It is statistically proven that more and more muslim guys are getting less interested in their own opposite sex(Female muslim) but is this even a good reason to force people into muslim? What happen to respect all race and religion? It should be our choice whether or not we want to convert. Have you seen how many non muslim love muslim people??? It's a lot but they don't want to convert thus leaving a lot of female muslim unmarried. You don't see any other race or religion that force people to convert. The funniest thing is they said if you really love the muslim girl, you would convert. What about if the muslim girl really love a chinese guy for instance, why not the girl convert to buddhist. As a chinese i know how painful it is to convert to islam because we lose our family name but the government doesn't care right? My gf loves my family name and she doesn't care whether i convert or not but because of the law, i can't go up the next level with my gf which is marriage. Female Muslim are human too ok? they have "desires"

The next law i am going to talk about is the new sharia law.
I am not gonna go into detail with this because i find it just stupid. We are living in a world that is constantly evolving but for some reason, Brunei law decide to go back to the primitive stage as to stone people for tiny offense to their god. You don't see chinese people slaughtering their own kind if they eat beef Or christian beheading another christian for not going to sunday church for prayers.

If Brunei keep continue to keep this up. I won't be surprise if the entire world go into war with brunei or their own people will go against them because this is inhumane. I feel sorry for the muslim especially to the female muslim and to my gf because the government control everything and makes some of them believe that it is the greatest country. Again No offense, i have seen some real badass muslim who go against anyone who say Brunei is bad. Trying opening your eyes and see how no other country does things like brunei and there is a reason for that. Which is we have no rights to choose. Any retaliation against the government means stoning and again this is seriously just stupid.
