The Bahamas lost a young, talented gay photographer to a hate crime on July 17, 2011. It's really sad and we're hoping his killer is caught and brought to justice. Shavado "Elmo" Simmons tried to run away from his killer who chased him down and shot him like a dog. Another man who was with Shavado was not harmed. We will remember you Elmo and this post is to make sure your name is remembered among the 7 billion people in the world. You were really a gift from God.
