Launch of the ILGA State-Sponsored Homophobia Report 2013

The 2013 version of the ILGA State Sponsored Homophobia Report will be launched this 15th May in Geneva

Since 2006, ILGA has been publishing an annual report, which collects the discriminatory and persecutory laws against lesbian and gay people that are still in place in more than 70 countries in the world.

The 2013 version of the ILGA State Sponsored Homophobia Report will be launched in Geneva on May 15th. 

After a welcome from Ms Sandrine Salerno, representative of the City of Geneva, Renato Sabbadini, co-Secretary General of ILGA, and Jingshu Zhu, co-author of the report, will present the 2013 issue of the ILGA State-Sponsored Homophobia Report which serves as an occasion to reflect on the state of homophobia in the world today.

The floor will then be given to Valeria Rabaglia, 2nd secretary, Mission of Argentina to the United Nations in Geneva, followed by Minister Didrik Tonseth, Deputy Permanent Representative, Mission of Norway to the United Nations in Geneva, and by Ms T. Tsheole, Counsellor of Human Rights, Mission of South Africa.
