The only political party for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community in the Philippines, Ladlad is celebrating its 9th anniversary. With a lot of work still to be done to promote equal rights for all, it is eyeing winning seats in Congress as the 2013 elections near.

One of the highlights of Ladlad’s preparation for the 2013 elections was the election of a new set of officers and Congressional nominees who will represent the LGBT Filipinos in Congress next year.
