Glamour and glitz filled the Hibiscus tent as the nine Adi Senkau transgender contestants performed to a jam-packed house. They also shared their views on how people could respect transgender equality, free from discrimination.
Goddess of Earth, Leonah Deasummers, 30, was crowned Miss Adi Senikau 2012.
She said it was important that transgender people were treated equally because they were also part of the community.
"We have contributed a lot to the development not only in our family but the nation and state," she added.
The crowning was done by Australian diva, Paulini Curuenavuli who also performed last night.
