Mama Tere Dies

A leader of the New Zealand transgender community "Mama" Tere Strickland has died after a suspected heart attack.
Mama Tere aged 49, who was well known for her work with whakawahine and takataapui people became a New Zealand AIDS Foundation Life Member in 2010. Read the story here.
