A Moroccan appeals court has upheld the earlier convictions of a group of men accused of homosexual acts.
The six men were arrested in April in the rural town of Fqih Bensalah. They were later convicted of “lewd or unnatural acts with an individual of the same sex,” along with incitement to prostitution, and public drunkenness or driving under the influence. >>>

Ghana President John Evans Atta Mills attended the Sunyani Central Ebenezer Presbyterian Church last Sunday after winning a landslide victory as the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2012 elections. Reverend Joseph Bosoma appealed to President Mills to criminalise homosexuality in Ghana and the Ghana News Agency reports that the President gave an assurance that the "government would institute measures to check the menace of homosexuality and lesbianism." >>>
