President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton added their voices to the international call to curb discrimination against LGBT people worldwide. Obama announced the establishment of a special rapporteur on LGBT issues at the Organization of American States. Clinton announced that the U.S. took a lead role in crafting a U.N. statement signed by 85 countries calling for an end to criminalization of homosexuality and violence against LGBT people. >>>
