After waiting two decades to say 'I do,' Carol Anastasio and Mimi Brown never imagined that when they finally tied the knot, someone else would pick up the tab on a lavish wedding. But for these lower East Side lovebirds, dreams do come true.
The Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) of Metro Baguio performed on Saturday wedding rites for eight gay couples in Baguio City while New York became the sixth and largest state in the US to legalize gay marriage.
