For the third time, the play, which is named “Stereo Women” in English, is sponsored by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives under the Canadian Embassy in collaboration with iSEE, the Hanoi-based non-profit Institute of Social, Economic and Environment.

Under the plan, in HCMC the drama will be performed at FPT University, the city’s College of Stage and Cinema, Hong Bang University, HCMC University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, HCMC University of Pedagogy and HCMC University of Transport from December 24 to 31.

In Dak Lak, the show will take place at the College of Culture and Arts and the Central Highlands Ethnic Youth Vocational College on January 2 and 3, respectively.
“Duoc La Chinh Minh” is organized by ICS center, an organization supporting local lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people (LGBT) in Vietnam.

Directed by Bui Nhu Lai, the drama is a mix of body installation art, contemporary dancing, and acting. Inspired by the Hanoi-based non-profit Institute of Social, Economic and Environment’s study called “Cau Chuyen Cua 40 Nguoi Nu Yeu Nu” (Stories of 40 Women Loving Women), “Duoc La Chinh Minh” presents a mosaic of the rich and colorful lives of the LGBT community, which has been looked down upon by society for years.
