The main objectives of the association are:
a) bringing an objective, non-distorted, complex and nestereotypnéhoobrazu LGBTI people in public space, demolition prejudices, eliminating homophobia and transphobia,
b) preventing the spread of HIV / AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases,
c) removing the stigmatization of people living with HIV in the society,
c) helping to achieve non-discriminatory access to LGBTI people in all spheres of life,
d) facilitating the integration of the physically and mentally disabled LGBTI people
e) assist in the acceptance of their minority sexual orientation (coming out)
f) facilitating the integration of LGBTI people of national and ethnic minorities.
As part of the fulfillment of these objectives, inter alia, the association actively involved in the European project SIALON II, within which they have the option of free and anonymous testing for HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis men having intercourse with men.
Civic Association took over the organization of the Rainbow ball in Bratislava, the second vintage item is held in January 2014.
The association in achieving its objectives nestraníckosti governing principles, independence, transparency and non-discrimination.
The Executive Director is a full member of the International AIDS Society.
