The LGBT community in Iran has suffered and been through a lot, especially in the long years after the 1979 revolution. The main oppression they suffered from was the lack of information and awareness of their own real situation, which has resulted in their intense frustration, imposed marriages, and finally their psychological torment. JoopeA is a project with the purpose of affecting and causing the implementation of human rights. Freedom of expression and opinion, and the freedom to have access to information focused on Sexual Rights and LGBTQ Rights are possible in a virtual space through this website. In the long run, this project hopes to provide the aforementioned rights and all other rights in the universal declarations of human rights, not just in a virtual space but in real life.
