Association Espoir Plus, is a human rights defense association for assistance to the vulnerable groups. We advocate for the interests of these socially disadvantage persons such as Sex Workers , Gays, lesbians, Transsexual, Men who have sex with men(MSM),Women who have sex with women(WSW), sex workers and also Advocacy. We are a here in Central Africa, Cameroon and in the south west region, Limbe. Buea is a town which has Cameroon’s first humanitarian association, defending the rights of the socially disadvantaged groups here in Cameroon especially in the south west region. Our association is based common wealth university; it is also characterized as having a great climate which has favored the growth of several colleges, professional universities attracting students from all over the world. Amongst these students lie a huge number of lgbti communities and sex workers community with no access to sensitization messages on sexual health and prevention. Buea being a conservative English town on the other hand is also characterized as being homophobic, high rate of discrimination, high rate of new HIV infections in the socially disadvantaged community(LGBTI) We carryout sensitization activities in the homosexual community and sex workers community in the city of Buea, limbe and also kumba( all based in the south west region of Cameroon). These are the neighboring towns where there are lots of MSM who have no access to sensitization as well as sexual health and prevention messages.
