We started our activities in 2007. It was an initiative of a group of young and enthusiastic people to create an organization which would encourage safe sexual relations and foster human rights protection. Starting from the very first day of our functioning, we lead activities to increase public awareness about sexual and reproductive health and rights, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS. In the sphere of human rights protection PINK Armenia promotes the ideas of equality and acceptance of vulnerable groups. We want to bring into being acceptance and appreciation of diversity in our society through encouraging cultural sensitivity, acceptance and through eliminating any kind of discrimination. The target group of the organization is the youth and LGBTIQ people. Since 2010 PINK conducts public events related IDAHO, celebrates Day of Silence. Organization has information center not only in Yerevan, also in 2 other cities of Armenia, working for MSM. We have a legal clinic with 24 hour legal support for MSM, sex workers, IDUs and PLHIV. PINK conducted researches on LGBT issues and organized a conference with governmental, international and local stakeholders, press-conferences for media.
