Association “LGBT GEORGIA” is the membership based, non-profit, non-governmental, and non-partisan organisation operating in Georgia since August 5, 2011. The main aspects of LGBT Georgia’s organisational strategy are: protection and promotion of LGBTI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex) rights. Providing equal rights and possibilities to LGBTI individuals and supporting their public integration. Revealing discrimination of LGBTI individuals, researching cases and supporting elimination measures. Providing society with relevant information on LGBTI issues and raising public awareness on that matter. Overcoming general, institutionalized and internalized homophobia.
