In Balance Asia is a website that provides mental health information to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex (GLBTI) people across Asia. Our mission is to provide helpful information and raise awareness about mental health problems affecting gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex (GLBTI) people across Asia. We aim to build understanding of mental health conditions, and in doing so, reduce stigma and improve health outcomes for GLBTI people. Our values are compassion, diversity, justice, empowerment through knowledge, health, acceptance and mindfulness. We are a new organisation and website and we are continually developing and improving our website. Users of our website can find relevant, simple and easy to understand information on topics such as depression, anxiety, gambling, drugs and alcohol, suicide, mood changes, same-sex relationships, internet addiction and HIV and mental health.
